Daytona 500 2017 Live Stream Online 2017. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Venue : Daytona International Speedway Location : Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. Daytona 500 Live Daytona 500 Live, Stream Free TV Coverage, 2017 Daytona 500 Live, Start time, Watch Online Daytona 500.

Held once a year at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, the Daytona 500 is one of NASCAR’s biggest annual events, marking the opening of the season and beginning of the Cup series.

This year, the race is slated for Sunday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. EST.

The 500-mile-long race is one of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing’s most prestigious races– in contrast to other sports organizations which hold their major events at the end of the season. The Daytona 500 also carries NASCAR’s biggest cash prizes: The 2015 purse was worth over $18 million.

It’s finally race day at Daytona International Speedway, and we’ve got all the information you need to get ready for the 59th running of the “Great American Race” and the start of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season.

START TIME: The broadcast begins at 2 p.m. ET Sunday. Actor Owen Wilson, the voice of Lightning McQueen in the upcoming animated movie Cars 3, will instruct drivers to start their engines at 2:18 p.m.. Former NFL running back LaDainian Tomlinson, recently selected for enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, will wave the green flag at 2:30 p.m.

RACE DISTANCE: The Daytona 500 is 200 laps around the 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway for a total of — you guessed it — 500 miles.

SEGMENTS: Beginning this season, NASCAR is dividing every race into segments and awarding one bonus point to the winner of each stage. Segment lengths will be different for every race. Also, the top 10 finishers of segments 1 and 2 will be awarded regular-season points in descending order from 10 to 1. Here are the segments for the Daytona 500: Stage 1: 60 laps; Stage 2: 60 laps; Stage 3: 80 laps.

Nadal eased past Florian Mayer and Marcos Baghdatis in straight sets in the first two rounds, before getting through a titanic four-hour five-set battle against German rising star Alex Zverev. The Spaniard then took out French sixth seed Gael Monfils in the fourth round in four sets.

Raonic got past tricky opponents Dustin Brown and Gilles Muller in the opening two rounds without dropping a set, before beating both 25th seed Gilles Simon and 13th seed Roberto Bautista Agut in four sets.

The Spaniard reached his first grand slam quarter final in more than 18 months with a hard-fought 6-3, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 win over the sixth-seeded Frenchman and plays third seed Milos Raonic next.

Nadal’s resurgence, coupled with Federer’s smooth progress, means there is the tantalising prospect of the first major final between the two great rivals since 2011.

Reflecting on the win, which took just under three hours, Nadal said: “For me, it means a lot because I really start the season playing quarter-finals in a grand slam again, especially on a hard court (and) after a couple of years without being in this round is great news.

“When you lost the third (set), you are down in the fourth, you are not under control, no. That’s the real thing.”

Nadal had looked to be cruising to a straight-sets victory at a packed Rod Laver Arena, but he tightened up in the third set to allow his mercurial opponent back into the match.

“I feel a little bit tired. But probably tomorrow [Tuesday] a bit better and hopefully after tomorrow perfect,” Nadal said in his on-court interview following the win.

Roger Federer made light work of world number 10 Tomas Berdych in the third round coming through in straight sets 6-2, 6-4, 6-4. The Swiss ace played two qualifiers in the first two rounds and the clash against the Czech Republic star was expected to be a big test owing to his lack of match practice in recent months due to a knee injury.

The former world number one was seeded 17th for the first Grand Slam of the year and hence is set to come up against the higher ranked players in the earlier rounds. Kei Nishikori is next up for the 17-time Grand Slam champion and he could come up against Andy Murray in the last eight if they win their respective matches.

Nishikori needed five sets in his first round match against Andrey Kuznetsov, but has since come through in three sets against Jeremy Chardy and Lucas Lacko. The Japanese world number five has been among the top-10 ranked players for the last two-and-a-half years and will go into the match against Federer with a good chance of coming out with a victory.

The 27-year-old has made the quarter-finals on three occasions at the Australian Open in the past, while he has also played in a final of a Grand Slam – 2014 US Open. He has lost his last three matches against Federer and will be keen to make amends. The winner of the match will face off against either world number one Murray or Mischa Zverev in the last eight.

The pair have met six times on the ATP tour with Federer holding a 4-2 advantage over Nishikori. Their last three meetings have been won by the Swiss ace. This is their first meeting in a Grand Slam event.[Source]

Wenger confirmed how long Mustafi is likely to miss after the win over the Potters, per BBC Sport: “It’s a bad one. The minimum is 21 days.” It’s probably a conservative estimate, so the Gunners need plans in place to cope without a player who has become a key member of the back four.

Mustafi has worked well with fellow central defender Laurent Koscielny since arriving from Valencia in the summer. The France international should expect Gabriel Paulista to start in place of his regular defensive partner.

The Koscielny-Gabriel partnership appeared shaky last season, although the often mistake-prone Brazilian has been playing well lately, albeit as a makeshift right-back.

Yannick Bolasie and Mo Besic are long term injury doubts and will be out for the better part of the season with knee ligament injuries. The Toffees started the season brilliantly, taking 13 points from the first five games, but have since taken only seven points from the next 10, which has kept them in ninth position. They have managed a 1-1 draw with Manchester United in their last home game and will be looking for a similar performance against the Gunners, who are without Shkodran Mustafi for the fixture.

The Gunners will welcome back Hector Bellerin to the starting line-up while Gabriel will slot in at centre-back alongside Laurent Koscielny. Aaron Ramsey is still not ready after coming off against Basel with a hamstring strain, leaving the Gunners with only Granit Xhaka, Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny to choose from in midfield.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been in good form off late and is likely to remain in the starting line-up, with Alex Iwobi coming off the bench. Olivier Giroud is also expected to start from the bench, with Alexis Sanchez keeping his position through the middle where he has scored 11 goals in the league.

Ronald Koeman told the club website: “Arsenal is different to Watford. They play differently and have world-class players. We know what we need to do. If we keep a compact team, we can make it difficult. This Arsenal team is better than it was. I had the experience with Southampton of beating Arsenal several times but I think this Arsenal team has more balance between defending and attacking.”

Arsene Wenger told the club website: “[On Everton in top four] They were very close many times and I think they’ve been in the top four, in the Champions League, once or twice since I’ve been here. Why [haven’t they made the step]? Because they have had top-quality clubs and teams in front of them. For many years you’ve had teams like Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, and it’s been difficult for them to get in there.”

Prior to their last gasp home win in September the Gunners had gone three games without a victory against Southampton, who did immeasurable damage to Arsenal’s title bid last season with a 4-0 win at St Mary’s and a stubborn 0-0 win in North London.

The last time these two met in the League Cup it was also Southampton that emerged victorious, despite Arsene Wenger fielding the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla. Arsenal may not have quite as many top names in their lineup as they prepare for a gruelling run of games before Christmas but the reserves have looked largely impressive in EFL action.

Another victory, this time against Premier League opposition after overcoming Nottingham Forest and Reading, would only strengthen Wenger’s belief in the depth of his squad and would put Arsenal in sight of silverware.

After a delay and eventual Kyle Busch win in Texas, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series next heads to Bristol for a race headlined by one Peyton Manning.

Sunday’s Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway will have Manning act as honorary race official, a fitting locale for one of the best to ever put on cleats to serve the role.

The Associated Press (via ESPN.com) captured Manning’s thoughts on the honor: “I’m thrilled to get a chance to watch Dale compete at Bristol Motor Speedway. I want to thank Nationwide for bringing me to one of the great NASCAR tracks to watch what I’m sure will be an exciting race in front of some of the most passionate fans in the sport.”

The usual suspects line the top of the leaderboard going into the high-profile event, perhaps crafting an early contender for race of the year given how they take to Bristol. Here’s everything to know about the event.

Last year: Denny Hamlin, one of seven drivers to lead at least 20 laps, overcame starting from 15th to claim the win.
Last week: In Texas, Kyle Busch became the first driver in 25 years to notch consecutive weekend sweeps. It was the 36th win in Sprint Cup for Busch.

Fast facts: There is no reason to think that Busch can’t pick up another sweep in Bristol. He swept all three national series races in the same weekend on the short track in the summer event six years ago … Tony Stewart said last weekend that he still doesn’t know when he will be able to get back in the No. 14 after breaking his back. Brian Vickers and Ty Dillon have been splitting the role as Stewart’s replacement driver.
Next race: Toyota Owners 400, April 24, Richmond International Raceway, Richmond, Virginia.

Track: Bristol Motor Speedway (oval, 0.533 miles).
Race distance: (300 miles, 159.9 laps).
